Company Statement: Coronavirus
Further to our Company statement dated 3rd February 2020 with regards to Novel Coronavirus. (2019-nCoV)
Following the continuing news, developments and updates with regards to the global & UK outbreak of Coronavirus (COVID-19).
We thought it would be helpful for our business partners to issue and update the current company position for Interket UK (Interket Limited).
Interket UK have assessed the possible risks and have adopted where necessary measures to ensure ongoing product supply.
We are imposing restrictions on access to our production facility here in the UK for people from at risk areas and are currently monitoring all travel requests for employees.
Of course, at all times, we continue to follow our BRC Hygiene, Health & Safety protocol and where able have further increased our site cleaning regime and have increased hand sanitisation points to support all employees.
In addition, we are/have assessed our supply chain, by engaging with our suppliers regarding their policies and control measures.
Currently we foresee no issues with regard to product safety or supply at this time.
However, given the nature of the outbreak and ever-changing developments of events with the Coronavirus, we will continue to monitor the situation in order to implement necessary actions if required to maintain continuity of supply.
In any event we will follow local UK Government guidelines, public health England and NHS Trust advice to ensure the health and wellbeing of all our employees.
Of course, we understand the concerns that individuals may have, and the wider risks associated with Coronavirus.
